Saus.Guru’s Mexican Habanero Fever is inspired by, you’ve guessed it, Mexican cuisine 😋. By using ingredients such as pineapple, aromatic lemon-habanero peppers, and a typical Mexican herb called Epazote (also known as ‘Scented Goosefoot’), we have created a unique hot sauce. It is a relatively mild hot sauce due to the sweet and sour pineapple, but at the same time, it is savory and spicy. In short, a delicious sauce with many applications.

But also think of dishes and snacks from other cuisines, such as noodle, stir-fry and rice dishes, or with pitas, over spare ribs, chicken wings, and pizzas, or as an addition to your favorite pasta sauce.

Trivia for Hot Sauce Lovers

All of Saus.Guru’s Hot Sauces are small artisanal productions. The special pepper blend used consists of Dutch-grown (seedling) peppers. These are handpicked and carefully selected for quality.

After the peppers have been approved by quality control, they are evaluated for flavor, aroma, and heat value. They are then mixed in the most ideal proportions to create the perfect aromatic blend. The blend contains Scorpion peppers, Habaneros, Jolokia’s, and Carolina Reaper peppers, among others. Just before production, the fruits are individually destemmed and cleaned, then blended and lightly pickled, aged, and frozen to stop the ripening process.
This ensures that our production always has the desired quality, even in winter.

Water, sugar, 13.5% pineapple, modified corn starch, vinegar, 1.8% yellow habanero, salt, 1.7% onion, 1.1% garlic, parsley, natural flavor, colorant (safflower extract), 0.04% epazote, food acid (citric acid), preservatives (potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate).
