Black Garlic, also known as fermented garlic, is a true delicacy. White garlic bulbs are heated at a low temperature for several weeks, causing them to slowly turn dark brown/black. Along with the color change, the taste and aroma of the cloves also change. The sharpness of fresh garlic is now transformed into a much milder garlic flavor with rich soy sauce-like undertones and depth. Technically, this is not a fermentation process, but rather falls under the so-called Maillard effect, a reaction between sugars and amino acids.

Instructions for use

Use as a dip and spread or drizzle over your favorite dishes. It is also suitable as an ingredient in your own recipes. This sauce is not intended for heating. Only process it cold to lukewarm.
