In sauce. Guru we love to experiment. As a cook that is in our nature and you taste it back in all our sauces. We give classic sauces a twist, but we also develop whole new sauces. What all our sauces have in common is that they are made for both professional cooks and home cooks. We don’t want our sauces with the most creative tastes to be found only in restaurants, but also just at your home. We hope that with our sauces, you can help you to find creativity within cooking. Collaborations and special sauces

Maybe you know the saying “too many cooks spoil the broth” though? In Our experience the opposite is true. By collaborating with other chefs, we create even better sauces with special flavors.

Sauce. Guru offers a wide selection of sauces, some of these sauces have been developed in collaboration with several Michelin star chefs from the Netherlands. Well-known chefs such as Menno Post and Chef Diego have been sitting with us at the drawing board. Together we have developed sauces with a balanced composition of herbs and spices that bring quality and the prestige of haute cuisine in every kitchen. Intricate tastes and taste patterns are not only for the best cuisines in Paris, Rome, Amsterdam or New York. We want to make these flavours accessible to everyone. We are continually expanding our sauce collection and we strive to bring even more interesting spices and flavors from all over the world to you.

We only use ingredients of the highest quality for all our sauces and products. We want to make high-class cooking more and more accessible and we believe that we can do this without having to deliver on quality. Ultimately, the final product is as good as the ingredients.

The products of sauce. Guru are an experience and every sauce that leaves our kitchen consists of three different layers of flavors. Don’t know at all what this means? Put some sauce on a spoon, taste it and you understand what we mean by this.

For us it is important to honor the classic kitchen and to respect the basic rules of cooking and specific kitchens. But this doesn’t stop us from trying new things. Our sauces are based on classic recipes, but they always have something special and we like to look for the boundaries in this.

We are sauce. Guru started from our passion for cooking and good food. Sometimes the colours of our sauces may come out a bit more or may have a longer shelf life, but we make our products to the taste and not to the appearance.

A sauce from the mountains

Together with the Dutch Master Chef Menno Post we created a sauce in which we used Duindoornsap, Timur pepper from Nepal and a typical mix of herbs and spices.

Vijaya Kumar VERMA
The Wasabi sauce which is just what is different

The result of this collaboration is the development of a sauce with one of Schilo’s most favorite ingredients: WASABI. This has become a kind of Teriyaki sauce with that characteristic tangy aftertaste.
