A bit of fish as a starter we see more and more occurrences in restaurants. Hence Jay has devised a masterpiece of a starter with our Mango Cinnamon sauce namely; Grilled fish rolls with pickled cucumber and caviar. A simple court but with a perfect balance. We grilled the fish rolls on a Konro grill/BBQ. This can also be made without the caviar and serve a protein in the place such as stocking stocking, potatoes, potato salad or Mac ‘ n Cheese.

Ingredients

  • Mango Cinnamon sauce AH
  • Half Cucumber
  • Vinegar
  • Sugar
  • Allspice Grain
  • Whitefish (Tilapia for the fish rolls)
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Garlic powder

  • Tahiru
  • Chili Powder
  • Sesame oil
  • Butter
  • Caviar
  • Red Coal germ
  • Fresh dill
  • Crème fraîche

Preparation

1. Lubricate the Tilapia with sesame oil.
2. Season the Tilapia with the salt, garlic powder, black pepper, thyme and chili powder.
3. Cut the Tilapia by missing so you have two beautiful long pieces of fish. Tip: Rub the inside of the fish slightly with Mango Cinnamon sauce
4. Roll the Tilapia pieces and prick them with a spike.
5. Insert the Konro Grill/BBQ and let it heat up to a temperature Of up to 180 °c indirectly.
6. Cut nice thin slices of cucumber with a cheese slicer and put it in vinegar with sugar, salt and allspice grain. Do this to your own taste
7. Lubricate the grate with olive oil.
8. Grill the fish on both sides about 2/3 minutes to a core temperature of 60-65 ° C max.
Then lubricate the fish rolls with some Mango Cinnamon sauce so that the sugars can only briefly caramel.
9. Put the cucumber down as in the picture and on the fish roll.
10. Put the lettuce germs on the fish roll and serve the caviar separately with some fresh dill and sour cream.

Then the fish rolls with pickled cucumber and caviar are ready. You can choose to add a small amount of Mango Cinnamon sauce over it. We think that this is not necessary because the taste of the fish in combination with the cucumber, lettuce sprouts, caviar, sour cream and dill already make a delicious kitchen.
